20+ Year Old Partnership Will Bring Digital Tickets to Titans Fans

Los Angeles, CA, (Mar. 6, 2018) – Today, Ticketmaster announced that it has extended its partnership with the National Football League’s Tennessee Titans and Nissan Stadium in Nashville, TN. Under this agreement, Ticketmaster will continue to serve as the official marketplace for the Tennessee Titans, providing a safe and secure destination for fans to buy, sell, and transfer verified tickets. Ticketmaster will also be the official ticketing partner for all live events at Nissan Stadium.

Beginning in the 2018 season, digital tickets will be introduced to Nissan Stadium and Titans fans.  Fans will now be able to conveniently access tickets on their mobile device, download to a digital wallet, receive personalized event information, and enjoy a streamlined venue entry experience. At the venue, fans can use their mobile device to enter Nissan Stadium and also easily transfer their digital tickets using common communications platforms like text, email, Facebook Messenger, and more.

The Tennessee Titans and Nissan Stadium will utilize Ticketmaster Presence as their venue access control system and provide the Titans with improvements in security and venue operations, delivering insights into the ticket lifecycle and fan engagement.

Ticketmaster and the Tennessee Titans began their partnership in 1997, and have since delivered more than 11 million home game tickets to fans.

“Ticketmaster has been an invaluable partner of ours since 1997, and we’re ecstatic to continue this partnership coming in to the 2018 season,” said Stuart Spears, Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer for the Tennessee Titans. “Their technology creates the type of experience that we have always dreamed of – where fans can manage their tickets at the touch of a button and experience the game in a convenient and personal way.”

“We’re excited that the Tennessee Titans and Nissan Stadium are making the jump to digital ticketing,” said Greg Economou, Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Sports for Ticketmaster, North America. “Digital tickets will provide the team and venue greater insights with real-time reporting, and will create a better experience for fans – from entry to exit and all the action in between. We cannot wait to roll this out with the Titans, and we look forward to the upcoming season.”
